The Star and Buc Wild Episode

Star and Buc Wild. Couldn’t control these cats, even with Dallas Penn on deck. In a rare interview, Star shared his past, how he was an actual street pimp in New York City in the early 1980′s, how he went to war with a handgun against a Dominican chick armed with and uzi and got sprayed up, his cocaine and mescaline fueled days, how he pimped MTV, Hot 97 and Power 105, why he has no issue with Big Tigger, how he’s never been impressed with Howard Stern, his love for DJ Vlad, what his hate is really about, how he doesn’t know who the fuck Just Blaze is, how someone who doesn’t fux with Hip Hop became a Hip Hop icon and more. This was too much. Dig in my cousin.

No doubt. My sentiments exactly. Listening to Star and Buc bought back those memories when Hot 97 ruled all things HipHop

      • Coolism

        loudspeakers podcast network

      • Ali

stereotypes it is, Chris. Loudspeakers sounds like a spoken word, floetry, india arie jump off.

my problem with stereotypes is it implies something, but i’m not sure what

Dope episode but far from the best episode! I thought that Star was too much in his Star & Bucwild Show mode…Star would start a story but didn’t finish them or jump to another story…quite messy..like Combat wrote, couldn’t control these cats

star’s a legend. one of the best things about the shows is your willingness to reach out to hip hops past, future, and periphery. keep that going, thats what sets yall apart

combat, this is the most prepared you’ve ever been my dude in terms of pointed and well-researched questions and while star was a bit of a loose cannon i thought you displayed more command and deftness at the helm this episode than any other one previous. you had just enough slack on the leash.

keep up the good work folk

yo this shit was mad niggerish. I don’t know star from nothing but controversy but if this is an perception of his character then I have to call bullshit. just lame ass suburban mixed dude fascinated with saying nigger is nothing but a white kid getting away with racial comments on youtube in anonymity; and the only reason he can say this shit in public of the mixed pass. This is the corny nigga you look up to? He came on your platform and disrespected your whole grind. One thing I agree with is him saying there is no god and there’s not a black radio personality outside of hip-hip which are just obvious statements anybody could make. I’m a naysayer but i’m curious on why anybody other than a 12 year old would listen to a guy who only knows three words. I don’t know, if I’m I’ll shutup
