Showbill by Theotis Jones

The “People’s Choice”, DJ Envy stops by to talk about his role as the devil’s advocate on the Breakfast Club, his recent admission of infidelity to his wife, how other dj’s ain’t playing right, getting a gun pulled on him by Nas, and tells us his strategy to “kill a muthafucker breathin’”. We also get a call from The Boondocks TV series character Uncle Ruckus, who asks us for a handout and waxes poetic on the day’s race-related hot topics.

envy interview was good u could tell he was ready to talk. i was half waitin for yall to be like “oh we had Star on the show the other day” when Envy was throwing shots.

what yall do best is respect the culture by humanizing the players in it. i hope that translates onto the complex platform. sounds like premium pete bout to play that side role like the grandma in the kitchen off comic view.

When I was listening to DJ Envy own his shit on your show, I was smiling cause that was some real grown man talk going on. This show was exceptional because the fallout that comes with cheating probably resonated with the audience in a very personal way. I know yall did not set out to be lifestyle coaches and I realize that at the end of the day the show is about business, but it’s still nice to see business being done so well.
