The A3C Episode ft. Killer Mike & DJ Drama

Play

A3C 2012. DJ Drama welcomed us to Atlanta as we talked about his mixtape reign, how the game changed, rap beef and how his album ‘Quality Street Music’ heated up the Billboard charts. Killer Mike blew the audience away as he shared his story of his upbringing, his pops a cop and his moms a hustler, how he hooked up with El-P to create the already classic ‘R. A. P. Music’ album, and why it’s important that we all vote. Plus, some turntable wizardry by the Cheat Code Just Blaze. Welcome to Atlanta indeed.

Ya’ll are doing the damn thing man. Loved this episode. Next episode can you guys speak more about your time at A3C? I think the fans would love to hear more about that.

Great Episode. Killer Mike’s new album is genius! It was great to hear the verse breakdowns.

Also, Just Blaze might be giving DJ Benhameen a run for the money on the wheels. I had no idea he could cut like that.

Yo Dallas, you comin off extra loud and awkward. And after all the bluster, your questions were mad superficial….what heads already know on Drama & mixtapes. Kept shouting down someone, too. Think shutting down Pete or someone a couple times; not totally sure of the names. Which can be cool or even funny, done with wit or finesse. But it came off, clumsy, uncomfortable and kinda foul (not entertaining)…ya’ll beefin? Maybe someone has a more interesting take than struggle questions–let people help you, kid. Maybe this ya’ll format– but the loudest voice ain’t always the best. Still luv the show, and Dallas, just wanna see y’all grow.
