Jay-Z – Run This Town (feat. Rihanna & Kanye West)

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8bUgwykXbo

Jay finally drops a real video. It’s been a while since he did something different other than standing, walking around looking like he’s in deep thought, contemplating why/ how he and Dame split. What do you think?

Boring. What’s the point? There doesn’t seem to be a plot! Frankly, this doesn’t seem to be much more than Jay standing, walking around looking like he’s in deep thought, contemplating why/how he and Dame split except in this case surrounded by Ye, Ri-Ri and a chic Benetton-style, multi-culti cast of radical ‘revolutionaries.’

Rihanna’s first outfit in this video > the song

I get chills from this, in a good way; mostly because of Rhianna. Certainly adds fuel to the “Jay is a Mason” theory.

Is Jay serious with this shit? There’s a stankin’ pile of doo on the north side of Eastern Parkway at Washington looks better than this.

Since Mr. Carter keeps it “real,” again, and likes to be compared to “trappers,” I do give him credit for spreading some “stacks” of his “paper” around to the extras, film crew, caterers, etc. Ain’t sayin’ I don’t want Shawn working (can’t wait to see him help load up the moving truck for the Nets “big” move to BK, riiiiight) but got-damn…

This is a long way from the brilliance (thank you Mark Romanek, Rick Rubin and, yes, Jay-Z) “99 Problems” ain’t it?

Rating: 3/10, credit to Kanye but I’d rather look at Amber’s nips than Rhi’s whatever, and Culpepper’s is a better Bajan joint.

The song is nice, but the video is quite strange and “huh?” Rihanna keeps it hot as usual and Kanye’s maintaining his amazing streak of continually improving his product.

Wish I could say, but Warner Music Group had other plans. Dickheads.

I have a quick question for all of you:

Ol’ camel face’s first single was Death of Autotune, correct, but doesn’t Diarihanna have a vocal effect on her voice in EVERY track she appears on, or am I bugging?
