    Is it worse than being “the white friend”?

    In college I was “the white dude” in a house with my basketball team. Had it’s downsides – I got to talk to the cops during our parties/landlord when he came over (ugh) but it also had it’s upside – no one else parties in a basement with a single red light and 14′ speakers blown out like a basketball house.
